Started by an engineer, still run by one.
Anthony Esere founded Serotny Global in 2006 as a mechanical engineer who had seen too many buildings fail because the people responsible for keeping water out were not the people responsible for the structure. The original idea was simple: bring engineering rigour to a part of construction that had been handed over to product-sellers and finishers.
Twenty years later, Serotny is one of the most trusted names in Nigerian waterproofing and structural rehabilitation - but the founding principle has not moved. Engineers brief our clients. Engineers inspect the buildings. Engineers specify the system. Engineers stand behind the warranty.
We have built that approach into a practice that operates nationwide from a single base in Maitama, Abuja - with certifications from the world's leading materials manufacturers, a permanent in-house inspection unit and a legal team that backs the warranties we issue. Banks, government and serious institutional owners hire us because we tell them what the actual problem is - and then we fix it so it stays fixed.

Founded in Lagos by mechanical engineer Anthony Esere - a one-man practice with a single conviction: structural water problems are engineering problems, not finishing problems.
- 2009
Awarded the Lagos State Government House and Secretariat waterproofing programme - the firm's first significant public-sector engagement.
- 2016
Structural-protection contract at KPMG Towers, Victoria Island. First crossover into top-tier commercial real estate.
- 2017
SystemSpecs / Remita HQ programme. The firm begins specialising in fintech and bank-grade facilities.
- 2018
Multi-phase engagement begins at Wema Bank Head Office on the Marina - still live, the firm's longest continuous client relationship.
- 2019
ALAT digital-bank waterproofing programme on Idowu Taylor, Victoria Island.
- 2022
Operational headquarters moved to Maitama, Abuja - repositioning the practice for nationwide engineering capability.
